Janet Elizabeth's Scottish country dance links

Scottish country dancing is a good way to meet people and keep fit. It helps your heart, lungs, bones, and balance and keeps your mind active too as some of the dances are quite complex. Here are the organisations I dance with.

Brighton and Hove Scottish Country Dance Club meets on Thursday evenings during school term-time. In July the club organise dances on Saturday evenings, in August we attend the Saturday evening dances in Worthing, so we dance every week of the year. Yes!

The RSCDS Brighton Branch runs classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced level in both Scottish country dancing and highland dancing.
