Highland dancing requires you to be fit and agile.

Class Dates

sword dancing - a highland dancer dancing over swords, by Charles Wordingham Friday classes start again on 10th September and finish on 17th December 2010.

Saturday classes start again on 11th September and finish on 11th December 2010.

Mixed Highland Class on Saturday Mornings

Saturdays 10:45 am - 12:15 pm

At St Julian's Church Hall, Rectory Road (off Kingston Lane) Southwick BN43 6EB

* For children aged 6 - 16
* Also for adults with previous dance or related experience
* Parents of children are encouraged to stay and watch.

Children's Country and Highland Class on Fridays

Fridays 6:15 - 7:30

At the Community Hall attached to St Peter's Church (West Blatchington), Hangleton Road BN3 7LQ, on the corner of Hangleton Road and Holmes Avenue. The 5B bus stops nearby.

For children aged 6 - 16.

Intermediate Highland Class on Fridays

Fridays 7:45 - 9:15pm

At the Community Hall attached to St Peter's Church (West Blatchington), Hangleton Road BN3 7LQ, on the corner of Hangleton Road and Holmes Avenue. The 5B bus stops nearby.

Highland dancing for adults and children who have reached intermediate level - held in the meeting room.

Fees

£3 per evening for RSCDS members*, children under 16 and 16-25s in full-time education. You can pay termly in advance to get 20% off this price (to the nearest 50p).

£4 per evening for adult non-members.

* RSCDS Brighton Branch membership costs £17 annually, including membership of the world-wide RSCDS or "HQ". Apply using the A5 application form and pay Ray before June if you can, otherwise please hand the form and money to the teacher at the first weekly class you attend.
